Ivan is a Eurasian eagle owl who lives at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. He's a favorite with his handlers and guests alike, and his impressive size and grace always delight the audience of the bird of prey show.
Piece is done in Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils plus a Derwent Drawing Chinese White on Fabriano Artistico hot press 140lb watercolor paper. Original is available and is professionally framed; photos available upon request. This piece received 2nd place from Tampa Regional Artists in the Fin, Fur and Feathers show.
